電影的故事劇情接續電影《熊的傳說》，故事重心在主角 Kenai 於冰河時代末期前往海岸的一段旅途，自從他變成熊之后，還是時常在夢中回顧起之前當人類的種種生活，在這趟旅程中，他的一位兒時玩伴 Nita 與他同行，Nita 是印地安部落中長老的女兒，和 Kenai 從小就是青梅竹馬的玩伴，如今卻因為 Kenai 變成熊了，兩人之間的相處出現了頗大的問題…
原聲大碟收錄了非常好聽的Feels like home、Welcome to this day等歌曲。
