據日本媒體報道，女星田中裕子近日接受日本電視臺邀請出演日劇《母親》，這部由人氣女星松雪泰子主演的社會性日劇定于4月14日開播，而且這也是實力派演員田中裕子時隔24年再次出演民放電視臺的作品。本劇音樂由 REMEDIOS(音楽) Lica(アーティス)創作。
《Mother》主要講述北海道小學教師鈴原奈緒帶著受母親虐待的女孩在逃亡途中發生的一些事情。松雪泰子在劇中飾演鈴原奈緒，她本身的生活也是非常復雜，田中裕子飾演的女性掌握著奈緒出生的關鍵，而且她還在東京幫助奈緒師生二人逃亡。
為該劇做了很多努力的制作人千葉行利說：“這部作品讓我有自信邀請田中裕子出演，每天我都很期待她的表現。”另外，出演該劇的還有主演NHK日劇《饑餓的龜》的倉科加娜、高田淳子、山本耕史以及酒井若菜等。
