"Video Games" is the debut single by American singer Lana Del Rey, released on October 10, 2011 by Interscope Records in the US, and Stranger Records in the UK.[1] It was named "Best New Track" by Pitchfork on August 3 after the release of an online video on July 1.[2] The song was featured on The CW TV series Ringer, and Del Rey performed it live on the British TV music show Later... with Jools Holland, first broadcast on October 11, 2011. It reached number three on the US iTunes chart and number one on the iTunes chart in nine other countries.[3] It has entered the charts in Belgium, Ireland, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
