Step Up Revolution (also known as Step Up 4, and previously titled Step Up 4Ever) is an upcoming American 3D dance film which will be produced by Step Up 3D director Jon Chu and directed by Scott Speer. It will be the fourth installment in the Step Up film series and is set to be released in theaters on July 27, 2012. It will star Kathryn McCormick from the sixth season of So You Think You Can Dance and will feature choreography by Travis Wall. Unlike the first three films that were produced by Touchstone Pictures and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, this film is the first to be produced and distributed by Summit Entertainment without Touchstone's involvement. The soundtrack for Step Up Revolution will be available on July 20.
