Chris LeMay - a Dutch artist blessed with a unique voice that’s incomparable. And now there’s Red Alert, his debut album, scheduled for a January 2010 release. His soulful and warm sound, combined with an alternative rock sound, took him far into the X-Factor competition, earned him a place in the MTV/TMF Talent Pool and made him Serious Talent on the national radio station 3FM. Once Chris and successful Dutch producer Gordon Groothedde (Beth Hart, Snoop Dogg, Krezip) got together, things evolved pretty quickly. Amazed by Chris’ voice, he couldn’t wait to hit the studio to record. And so they did with eleven exciting tracks as a result. Chris co-wrote the album and recorded it with his own band, 5 young, talented guys who have played before with artists like Intwine and Keith Caputo. And after months of recording they’re now ready to hit the stage. The title track Red Alert has been selected for the campaign against Child Death by the Save The Children organization. Chris is honoured by this request - last year this honor was reserved for Open Your Eyes by Snow Patrol.
