Bearing musical similarities to Grizzly Bear, Fleet Foxes, Vampire Weekend, and Arcade Fire, the band played nine shows during the festival and walked away with the attention of several U.K. labels, including the London-based Infectious Music. The label eventually signed Local Natives and released their self-funded debut, Gorilla Manor, to European outlets in November 2009. Back at home, the band courted American audiences by placing the song "Airplanes" in an episode of the NBC sitcom Chuck, and an offer from Frenchkiss Records led to Gorilla Manor's stateside release in early 2010. 更多>>
