A one-woman band, if you will, Quitzow is multi-instrumentalist Erica Quitzow, and she specializes in an electro-pop sound that includes instrumentation ranging from Moog to cello. Mostly a home recording project for Erica, Quitzow employs -- from time to time -- outside players and friends to add the necessary touches and flourishes that define Quitzow's unique sound. Live shows have been performed, and have included many of the friends and collaborators who have worked on the recordings with Erica. Quitzow's debut, the self-titled Quitzow, was recorded at Erica's home in New York and released in 2004, receiving many positive reviews.
